Development of an integrated therapeutic and prevention device to improve tissue oxygenization
Brief description of the project
The main goal is the development of „AngioSmart” telemedicine system, which is an integrated transdermal carbondioxide/tissue nitrogen oxide combined with an intesity-modulated electromagnetic field-based therapy intended to increase tissue oxygen and enhance the repair of damages in microcirculation. The system intended to provide optimised therapy tailored individually, based on the clinical stage and medical conditions for the purpose of rehabilitation or prevention of vulnerable population.

Intelligent technology-based pediatric post-operative guarding and telemedical home health monitoring system
Brief description of the project
The aim of the project is to develop a complex post-operative surveillance measurement system with a telemedicine option to monitor physical condition at home after surgery. An essential innovation of the measurement interface is that the traditional cardiac surveillance is extended by the monitoring of the gastrointestinal tract.
The realization of the project goal is based on two main groups of development activities 1 / Technical, software and algorithm development 2. / Medical diagnostic development, system testing and human clinical trial.

Modular, validated diagnostic measuring and data processing system for human clinical drug development, dietary supplements and medical devices, and for their side effects and other clinical research
Brief description of the project
In recent decades, there has been a real need for research results to be derived from pure traceable data. Recognizing this goal, the members of the consortium (led by PC Trade Kft. – software developer, MDE Kft. – medical device developer, AdWare Research Kft. – data management, biostatistics, data mining service provider) plan to implement a measurement, data management and monitoring system for human clinical research, which meets these requirements and provides an interface to other systems.
The aim of the project is to develop a modular diagnostic tool system that collects data in real time according to the purpose of the study protocol, measures basic physiological parameters (ECG, NIBP, body temperature, CAN, etc.) and is able to receive data from external systems (e.g. laboratory, X-ray, etc.).

Development of a non-invasive complex measurement and evaluation system for the diagnosis of childhood reflux disease
Brief description of the project
The aim of the project is to develop a prototype of a complex measurement tool and an organically related diagnostic evaluation module that would allow the non-invasive diagnosis of childhood gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) under ambulatory conditions by replacing the currently used invasive measurement techniques.
Grant awarded: 64 932 000 HUF
Grant intensity: 60 %
The development ends till 30.06.2019.

Development of a new, multi-point innovative analgesic: efficacy, preclinical and human phase I studies
Brief description of the project
The aim of the development is to prove the efficacy and safety of the drug candidate SZV-1287 by preclinical studies and to launch human clinical trials in accordance with international requirements. The main stages of the project are: I.) completion of preclinical studies: complete characterization of the analgesic effect profile, drug formulation, pharmacokinetic and subacute toxicological studies, as well as the necessary synthetic chemical and analytical work, production of active substance; compilation of preclinical documentation according to official requirements; II.) To perform the Phase I clinical trial.

FP7 – PATHWAY-27
Pivotal assessment of the effects of bioactives on health and wellbeing. From human genoma to food industry.
Brief description of the project
PATHWAY-27, a pan-European interdisciplinary team of life/social scientists and high tech/ food processing SMEs, uniquely addresses the role and mechanisms of action of 3 bioactives, namely docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), β-glucan (BG),and anthocyanins (AC), fortifying 3 different widely-consumed food matrices (dairy-, bakery-, egg products).
Critical evaluation of bioactive-food matrix interactions and determining the extent of synergies between the 3 bioactives are key elements of PATHWAY-27. The project will also consider the technological modifications occurring during food processing and production, as well as the frequency of consumption and the consumers’ acceptance of the BEF.
